Last week, Green Bay, Wisconsin based “Jo to Go America” announced plans to launch the ominously titled Phase Two of its coffee expansion plans. What exactly is Phase Two, you ask? Why, it’s a Mexican catering business! Ok, maybe that was not so obvious…

Jo To Go America, Inc. Rolls Out “Phase Two” of Jo To Go Coffee/Taco Flamingo Co-Brand Concept

Franchise Introduces Authentic Mexican Catering Program
Jo To Go America, Inc. has rolled out the second phase of development of the franchise’s new co-brand concept. Taco Flamingo and Jo To Go Coffee now offers a catering program to put the spice back into board meetings, staff meetings, parties, or any other get-together.

“Rich in flavor, Mexican food is number one in America right now,” commented Jo To Go America President Dick DuBois. “So why would you serve your clients and friends a hot ham sandwich with a scoop of potato salad? At Taco Flamingo, we’re offering a bold option.”

Taco Flamingo customers can choose from four catering menu options: freshly wrapped and grilled burritos, the Taco Bar, the Nacho Bar or the Salad Bar. Catering packages start at $8.49 per person, and include beverage options, delivery and set-up.
Ingredients in Taco Flamingo menu items include 100% Angus steak, as well as seasoned chicken, pork or fish. All vegetables — tomatoes, lettuce, onions and cilantro — are bought fresh and chopped by hand. Tortilla chips are fried and seasoned at the store throughout the day.

“You can’t beat the quality of the food, and the set-up of our catering program makes it very convenient,” commented DuBois. “We do almost everything except eat the food for you.”

I have a feeling that there may be demand for that last service, too. Another tacoccino anyone?

Great idea!!! Coffee will be the next ingredient along with chocolate and vanilla to flavor our foods. Plus, it will liven up lunches, meetings, parties and mornings.
Try some of the vinaigrettes with coffee and add them to your favorite salad proteins, like chicken, tuna, salmon, beef or pork, even tofu. Take the rest of the salad in a ziploc bag and just mix and enjoy the best lunch ever!!!
