Kaapi Royale Coffee just released a video of their January 2011 India origin tour, beautifully filmed and produced by Ralph Gastons of Isla Coffee. The only thing we’re missing is an organized Bollywood-style dance number.
This does a wonderful job of capturing some of the sights and sounds of this vibrant land, but no images can really do the full sensory experience of being there in person justice. It has not yet been announced whether or not there will be another organized tour in 2012, but the company will be hosting coffee buyers routinely from the winter through early spring harvest months. I’m already planning a trip back for November.
You can taste the coffee from this year’s harvest at the Specialty Coffee Association of America exposition in Houston coming up in just a few weeks or at the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe conference this June in Maastricht, NL.
