It’s been just over 1 month since we left Moscow’s famed Red Square, site of the 2011 Spasskaya Tower and International Coffee Festival. I still find myself in a state of disbelief or maybe denial: did it all really happen?
As quoted today by Sprudge, the numbers were stunning:
Espresso Shots
Liters of Milk
Drinks Served
Hours Sleep (per Night)
My personal and heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who made the event possible and such an outstanding success and particularly to this crew:

Asli Yaman & Regina Vasilieva

Soyuz Coffee Roasting
The espresso machine wizards:
Giovani Fucili and Svetlana Titova of Nuova Simonelli for providing the amazing Aurelia espresso machines that were used throughout the event (and I might add, flawlessly serving great espresso to more than 10,000 people in 5 days).
We most all of all thank the team of Soyuz Coffee Roasting for executing such an astounding event, producing such great coffee and for daring to dream of a new specialty coffee culture in Russia.
Let’s take a look back:
